Plaza La Ranita: Charm in the Heart of Uruapan

If you ever find yourself walking through downtown Uruapan, you can't miss visiting the charming Frog Square. This cosy little corner of the city is famous for a friendly frog sculpture that has become a local symbol.

The square is surrounded by green areas and benches where you can sit and rest. In the center, you will find a nice fountain that complements the frog sculpture. It is an ideal place to take a stroll, enjoy a good book or just sit and contemplate the day.

In Frog Square, is common to see families and friends spending time together, having picnics or taking photographs of the sculpture and the landscape. The square has good lighting, trash cans and rest areas, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant visit.

The name “La Ranita” comes, obviously, from the frog in the plaza. Over time, this sculpture has become a landmark and a beloved symbol for the inhabitants of Uruapan. The plaza has always been a meeting and social place for the local community.

The Frog Square es un pequeño oasis urbano que captura el espíritu amigable y acogedor de Uruapan. ¡Definitivamente vale la pena visitarla si estás en la ciudad!
