Baroque style building, dating from the 17th century, with porcelain inlays on its side walls.
A Franciscan temple built in 1750, it is the heart of the historic center of Quiroga. Dedicated to San Diego de Alcalá, the town's patron saint, the church is a favorite spot for locals and tourists who come to this picturesque town for the large number of handicrafts on offer in its streets.
The coffered ceiling of the church displays bright colors and simple figures alluding to passages from religious stories, as if they were addressed to simple and childlike minds, perhaps thought of through the eyes of the Puréchepas.
The atrium decorated with yellow flags gives a charm to the image of this ancient village.
