The National Copper Museum is full of history and tradition.
Here you will find everything from the first manifestations of Purépecha artisans to pieces that have received national awards.
It houses the National Prize for Sciences in Popular Arts and Traditions, awarded to the artisans of Santa Clara del Cobre for their creativity in the art of hammered copper and for the wide prestige they have achieved in Mexico and around the world.
Visitors will be able to see first-hand how copper pieces are made in each and every step required to be finished.
