This is how this viewpoint is known, located at a lower altitude than the “big stirrup” and on the “colorado” hill, towards the other end of the city, it offers a beautiful view of the lake, but from a different angle.
It can also be reached by cobblestone path from “Lázaro Cárdenas” Avenue, right on the opposite corner of the square of the same name.
It was also built during the government of Lázaro Cárdenas del Río, in 1938. It was designed and built by the architect Antonio Llamosa and the engineer Roberto Mejía Ortiz.
On two walls of the main building of this place, the painter Roberto Cueva del Río made paintings with scenes of indigenous people that represent the themes of The tianguis or Market and The fish dance.
