Cantoya Fest 2025

The Cantoya Fest In Pátzcuaro, this magical event celebrates the tradition of hot air balloons, made from tissue paper and filled with vibrant colors. This festival brings together local and international artisans, who release more than 500 balloons of various sizes and designs into the sky. In addition to the balloon launches, the event includes live music, cultural activities, and a festive atmosphere that attracts visitors of all ages.

It takes place in Vasco de Quiroga Square, in the heart of Pátzcuaro, a Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) steeped in history and charm. It's a unique experience that combines art, tradition, and community.
