Death anniversary of Don Vasco de Quiroga

Don Vasco de Quiroga died in the city of Pátzcuaro on March 14, 1565 at the age of 95, thus closing one of the most important chapters in the history of Michoacán.

This date is celebrated with a cultural week: an exhibition of crafts, an organ concert in the Basilica and traditional music.
